Happy Day everyone!

Rev. Dr. Sandy Seaton-Todd

Bible Verse Matthew 28:20 Jesus said, "Remember, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Bible Story John 6:16-21 Jesus' disciples were in a boat crossing the sea to Capernaum. It was dark and Jesus had not come to them yet. The sea became rough. When they had rowed three to four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat. They were terrified. Jesus said, "It is I; do not be afraid." Then they wanted to take him into the boat, but immediately the boat reached the land where they were going.

When you find yourself going through hard times, remember Jesus is with you and will always be with you. We may be terrified, but Jesus says, "I'm with you; there is no reason for you to be afraid. There is nothing to fear in the present or the future." The seas of life can be rough. But Jesus can bring calm to the roughest of seas. You never know when you will look up from the dark, from the waves, from your exhaustion, from your fears, from your isolation, and there you will see Jesus. And then you will be on stable footing again.
